At Chatham Boat Company, we’ve always been more than just a place to service boats. Located in the seaside town of Chatham on Cape Cod, our boatyard has long been a gathering point for local boaters, visiting families, and anyone who feels at home on the water.
As a family-owned and operated marina, we believe boating is about connection — to the water, to the town, and to the people who share it. On any given day, you’ll find boats coming and going, projects underway in the yard, neighbors stopping by the ship’s store, and conversations happening on the dock. Whether you’re preparing for a day on Pleasant Bay, maintaining a working boat, or simply browsing for nautical gifts, you’re always welcome here.
We offer full boat service, storage, sales, and repairs, and we’re proud dealers of Honda outboards and Load Rite trailers. But what truly defines us is the sense of community that surrounds the yard — a place where experience is shared, knowledge is passed down, and boating life on Cape Cod continues season after season.
There’s a certain rhythm to life on the Chatham waterfront. Boats arrive early in the morning, projects unfold throughout the day, and familiar faces pass through the yard — some headed out on the water, others stopping in just to say hello. It’s a place where the seasons set the pace and no two days look exactly the same.
At Chatham Boat Company, the marina is very much part of the town’s daily life. Locals rely on the yard for everything from routine maintenance to last-minute parts before a weekend on Pleasant Bay. Visitors discover us while exploring Cape Cod, often returning year after year. Over time, those quick stops turn into conversations, and those conversations turn into long-standing relationships.
This waterfront has seen generations of boaters come through, and being part of that continuity is something we’re proud of. The boats may change, but the sense of community remains constant.
