She's a Reuel Parker ( http://www.parker-marine.com/parkerauthor.htm ) design, reminiscent of the Chesapeake Bay Sharpie or Batteau / Batteaux. She's a fiberglass edition of the Parker Terrapin 25 "fast pocket cruiser." A 25' sailboat with ultra shoal draft. This is the hull shape that evolved for harvesting oyster on the flats of the Chesapeake Bay waters and then beating the other boats back to the dock with the harvest. The centerboard rig allows for just 16" draft with the board up and 46" with the board down. Huge main to move you along in the breeze. Everything is controlled from the cockpit and she has a "Flexible Furler 2" roller furler.
100 square foot jib and 245 square foot main, all in good shape.
26 gallon water tank.
There is a bracket on the back for a kicker, but no motor goes with her.
Galley includes a sink and some storage. No stove
Forward V-Berth, lots of room, very clean and ventilated.
There is also a long bench on either side of the folding table in the cabin to make room for 4 in comfort.
Head midship across from the galley
The trailer is in good shape and it's quite unusual to find a sailboat this size with a trailer included. The brand is "Performance."
Mast has a "tabernacle style" set up. All the rigging is in place and she's ready for the water.
Lots of cool paperwork including magazine articles and the original brochures. There's even a survey from the prior owner. Not up to date, but lots of useful info.
Title in hand and ready to go.
